The UK is such a pain in the ass.
You can bring your animal into the country on a plane, but it has to fly cargo.
If you don't want your animal relegated to cargo, the easiest way is apparently to fly to Paris, take the train to Calais, then get a car to take LeShuttle (yes, it's really called that - the fuckin' French, lol) across.

I'm throwing a little party in the park and need to pack a bunch of larger items that won't fit into my car (xl coolers, kiddie pool, etc.) so I was going to rent one of those little uhaul trailers because i can't make multiple trips (~50 miles round trip). So I guess just a regular truck will have to do. Which is $20/day + .99¢ a mile vs. $15/day for the damn trailer.

But I might have solved my kiddie pool dilemma and might be able to shove everything in my car after all! Yay!

Nah, it's a device, vinyl straps with a ratchet mechanism. Great for pulling things, not so great when you brake
