Ugh.

This is the first day I've felt remotely human since the weekend.
I don't know what the hell it was, but something took me out.
It started Saturday, and by Sunday, I could barely get out of bed - don't think I was awake for more than 2-3 hours total - all day. I haven't felt that horrible in about a decade.
I'm still a mess, but at least I'm able to function to some degree.

I'm trying to look on the bright side and be grateful I'm already recovering.

I’m on the employee committee at the new company and we’re in the process of planning the annual holiday party.

Evidently Old CEO of the company - banned +1s at our holiday events for years after a spouse got lubed up and lippy at him.

New CEO - we’re having an 8 hour “casino” (including renting dealers and tables) themed holiday party at a brewery and +1s are invited again.

I'm not sure if he's there anymore. I can't get back in these days but I think he dropped out of everywhere at the same time

Boss got back from Philly on 5/19 and got sick as a dog so worked from home all week. Took the following week off to sail around the Adriatic, back in the office yesterday and he’s STILL having coughing fits. Doctor said it was just a bad cold :noidea:

But fr it’s nice to see that HR is awesome at not doing their job at Hus place too. It takes a definite skill set to be an HR professional.
