Welp, it’s been four months since this interaction and first time going to the gas station since and to my surprise, this fella was still working there…

Today it was only slightly less awkward…

Pay with a $20, he counts and hands me my change, “$8.55.”. Begins to bag my stuff, suddenly stops, looks at me and goes “hey! *five second pause*…$8.55” and goes back to bagging.
 
Prom season. My prom date ghosted the fuck out of me, didn't speak to me and hung out with her friends. After I spent all that money for tuxedo, tickets, car rental, dinner and that fucking corsage. That shaped my distrust of women to this very day. Fucking bitch. Fuck 'em and then move on.
