Tuggin Tuesday Thread

I love this thread.

Where do you get cash from?
I get $20-40 every grocery store transaction with my Discover card. No fee for getting the cash and it doesn't require another stop. Plus, I don't really use cash that much.

I didn't get that far, but I prefer handling health issues as a household rather than managing separate coverage/networks depending on the recipient.

I do remember now that my parents ran into this before my dad retired where my Mom's company kicked him off their health plan since his company offered insurance.

Denial of insurance definitely seems like an ethical gray area at best

It might be irrational, but I would not trust depositing cash through an ATM.
Used to work at a bank. Nothing to worry about, Slink. They have cameras monitoring the person who retrieves those and adds the cash to the accounts.

I'm just glad my company would never do that. Every partner now has a spouse that doesn't work.
I think we only provide insurance to one person in our office. The other 4 of us get it through our husband's insurance.

Optum and USBank both do this. The fee was still smaller than what benefits would cost through my employer, so we pay it. No idea how it shows up on a paystub doh.
Been awhile since I've had a client that worked for USBank. Must've started after that. Can't remember ever having a client that worked for Optum.

Yep, my wife was at Optum for about 10 years, and it went into effect 3 years ago, I think

For me health costs is just as much about the strain on employers as it is for employees. Its a big part of a total compensation package. And getting bigger.

You just pay "just the tip" with strippers. Problem solved

By no means do I speak on behalf of strippers across the nation but i feel comfortable in saying they'd largely pass on free sex with 99 percent of their patrons.
