TV series you almost gave up on, but glad you didn't

But yeah the trip beyond the wall episode pure nonsense. The entire plan was so dumb, made no sense that a plan that dumb was coming from the character it was, was dumb it was agreed to and went along with and everything in the last 10 minutes or so of it, especially the very end was ridiculous. At the same time though that episode had some great dialog between that group of characters so it wasn't outright awful in every aspect.

But a black eye for the show for sure.

I watched the entire series trying to see what I was missing. People telling me it’s a great show. It’s not for me. It seemed like every new character that came along was more annoying than the last.
You watched the entire series... approximately 74 hours of your life, to decide that it was bad?

I mean, it pretty well runs on a loop on Comedy Central. It probably took 3 years to watch the entire thing between early Sunday mornings and weather cancelling work

Is Comedy Central the only channel you get? It’s pretty weird to watch an entire series of something you hate breh.

We’ve established that you’re not smart enough to bother explaining things to. Try someone else, budro

one show that I feel I need to get past the first season to appreciate more is Brooklyn 99.

I heard it was really good but the first season just didn't do it for me.

Same. I gave it a try but I couldn't get into it

I was really into Law & Order SVU during its heyday but I had to force myself to watch the first season

I feel like any Law & Order show is the same...do they actually have stories that extend past a single episode?

Not usually. They had an occasional two-part episode but they all followed the same formula that the creator used.

I never really got into the original Law and Order for that reason
