The Pac Network wasn't carried by anyone. At the end of the day Scott sucked so yeah bad move for you guys and oddly enough we are probably better off not going down that road (mostly because yall would have fucked us a decade later but water under at this point).

But damn at the time Tech had just fired Leach but were still pretty solid. Oregon was at peak Kelley. USC was at the beginning of the Kiffen era so meh. Washington was at the beginning of the Sark era and were soon to hire Chris Peterson. Mack Brown was close to the top of his game. Stoops was Stoops and we were experienced peak Gundy. As a bonus Baylor gets fucked so no one gives a fuck about Art Briles having a rivalry with Gary Patterson in the AAC.

Whatever happens probably would have happened regardless but had that move gone through it could have changed west coast football.

If somehow the CA schools pulled Texas into the whole canceling of the season due to Covid 2 months before the season was to start.. UT would have bolted around this time too. BTW UT did y'all a solid.. Ya'll were able to eat for a decade that paid more than what the ACC and PAC teams were getting and pretty close to what the other 2 conferences were getting too.

UT had the juice to be able to command the conference to still get paid as if it had 12 members when there was only 10. This is the reason why no matter what happens, Big12 staying alive or if the PAC stays alive, y'all, baylor, tech and tcu will have a home somewhere. Y'all were able to invest into facilities and coaches to factor in realignment.

I don’t know why the B1G is so dumb (Keven Warren) but UCLA has been running at a $30 million athletics budget deficit per year and now the B1G swoops in and gives them immediate 100% share of Conference tv money hand out in 2024.

The B1G going after those teams with sound finances with great fanbases. LOL. Sheesh. Because Maryland worked out so well. At least UCLA also has pretty helmets.

College football fans are extremely joyous Texas didn’t head West!!

After all, Texas has positioned itself to swoop into the SEC and to ease all those SEC woes of being Nationally irrelevant in the world of college football!!

Yes Texas will save the SEC and show doubters everywhere that this thing the called the LHN is what’s best for all college football teams everywhere. The world praises your actions and inactions at the same time!
