UM folds ... accepts punishment

I'm just waiting for yet another thread, on the same topic, where Michigan fans can start this going in circles process about "what rule was violated?", and "why is it a rule?" over again, as if it's never been discussed.

"we are guilty but why is this a rule anyway?"

lol!

That too. UGA played Michigan in this time frame. Was UGA better at throwing off sign stealers, or did Michigan know the plays, but couldn’t stop it?

I’d honestly prefer the latter

Michigan is still built like the stereotypical B1G team. They don't have the speed in the trenches to compete with elite SEC schools. Ohio State had the same exact issue under Tressel and Meyer changed the way they recruit.

Michigan probably has a better shot this year IF McCarthy could play to his potential and ball out. I also think their playmakers on the lines are better bc they have been their for awhile. In 21, with a game manager at QB and going in expecting to ground and pound, they stood zero chance

“Rules is rules” people are why stupid rules and laws stay in place. If a rule or law is stupid, get rid of it
Sure.

Also, until they get rid of it, follow it instead of blatantly ignoring it.

Nah, scrap it immediately and take whoever made said stupid rule out back and do em like Old Yeller for wasting everyone’s time

If Michigan didn't do anything, Michigan would have taken the B1G to court (and won). They didn't. Please stop all this BS. It's honestly that simple.

They clearly didn't do anything but couldn't take the B1G to court bc one of their coaches got caught trying to cover up them not doing anything.

Exactly. They were shown something that made them back down and not continue trying to press the matter into court. They didn't just back down for no reason.

That's just mental gymnastics. The NCAA isn't going to care about mental gymnastics.

Was a scheme developed by a Michigan staffer to illegally gather, in-person, the sideline signals of a future (in-season) opponent?
YES!!! Over 30 times in the last 3 years.

Was the illegally gathered information used by the Michigan football program for their benefit?
YES!!!

lol, with this nonsense again. Not to mention, it includes a covid year where 8 of Michigan's starters sat out for a majority of the year.

With the signs being such a big part of Michigan's success -- Has anyone seen what the line is for the UM OSU game this weekend?

With Michigan having no Head Coach, no LB coach, no Stallions, while playing the #2 team in the nation -- OSU must be HUGE favorites.

@Red_Alert You seem more invested in this than fans of teams who actually had a shot to beat Michigan. How many is OSU favored by this weekend?

Does that spread guarantee a Michigan win or something?

For some strange reason (3-5)(5-6) Nebraska is favored over (6-2)(9-2) Iowa by 2.5 on Friday.
Absolutely nothing Nebraska's done to be favored over Big 10 West champ Iowa.

Michigan lost someone who doesn't even play.

FSU, by comparison, lost their starting QB.

I think the Seminoles got it worse than you. But that's just me.

I hope the spread goes up
