He's brainwashed or stupid...you pick one, I think it's both. Jesus gave his teachings (gospel) to his disciples, of which Paul made into the church...the Catholic church!

There were no other "religions" of Christianity but the Catholic church for hundreds of years! The Catholic Church is the oldest institution in the entire western world....there is none older....that means no other Christian religions are included in that!!!!!!

@Fish will never go for this. He hates gay people because of his religion. He said AIDS is proof that homosexuality is unnatural. He believes it’s contrary to Gods law.

Yet he also claims that his religion teaches him to love and respect ALL humans… except gays obviously.

i get it, you were indoctrinated. Do you know how to define the term Christian? I doubt you do. If you understood what the definition was you would realize it predated the catholic church. The first Christians are those who followed Jesus, prior to any "church"

Service will start shortly and before it does I wanted to explain and share my own experiences with religion.

I was born and raised Catholic. Baptised as an infant, Catholic primary school til 3rd grade, First Communion, all that stuff...
At that age, for me, that religious stuff just bored me and I gave it very little deep thought. I couldn't wait to find something fun to do!

I wonder how many others here went to Catholic schools in the 60's an 70's?
Does anyone else remember being lined up, getting interrogated by a frightening huge Nun about who spit out the Eucharist during Communion? And you're only in first or second grade, this is very scary to small children.

I think it's been 3 weeks since I did any meaningful work.
I can't get back to work until I lose this work funk.
