Under the Porch with the Guide Bear!

You can't disagree with my personal experience, LOL. You can have a different experience however, and I can't argue with that. We all view life through the lens constructed from our own experiences.

haha.

either you misunderstood what I wrote or it was poorly written. I’ve already acknowledged that I respect your experience was different.

My latest point was IF people support laws banning abortions and/or they support laws criminalizing homosexual behavior based upon their religion then they are NOT subscribing to the principle of “live and let live” but rather they are pushing their religious views onto others.

Do you agree with that? If no, why not?

Who favors criminalizing homosexual behavior? We should not judge sexual behavior between two consenting adults.

It was this...

I don't support morality based laws that are victimless, so suck dicks all you want if that's what you fancy.

Abortion is a gray area when it comes to victims. Abortions of convenience are terrible to me, but I don't support outlawing them with the exception of late term situations.

I think that’s actually very well said… especially the second part. I agree it is a gray area up to a point. IMO once a pregnancy reaches a certain point it’s no longer in a gray area which is why I too don’t support the right to choose in ”late term pregnancies“. I support the reasoning of Roe primarily because of all the prenatal testing involving birth defects. The decision to carry to term a fetus that may be born with a birth defect is truly a difficult decision that should be left up to the mother and her wishes. I dont think the state or anyone has the right to tell her what to do in that instance.

Agreed

I came here for aquarium updates.

Such is life…

I just came upstairs from the basement. I'm still so relieved that the pump that wasn't working turned out to be a simple problem that took almost no effort to fix. I have 11 goldfish now and 8 of them are just feeders and they are really cool looking fish. The other 3 are calicos and the selection was slim so the calicos I have aren't even as pretty as some of the feeders.

The feeders cost a whole 34 cents each! The calico's are 3 bucks each and that's still dirt cheap. Goldfish can live for 15 years!
Here's a couple more pics from tonight. And I still want to get more variety of animals, even insects maybe.

Keep an eye on the snails.

I had a snail population explosion once. No idea how many little babies, but had to be hundreds. They do their job though.

I know you intend on getting some predators in there. But if you have frogs in that creek, tadpoles can be fun.

Had a bullfrog tadpole for about three years way back in the day. That thing got huge. And a newt tadpole that evidently was never going to sprout legs living in an all water environment. Both went back to the stream I netted em from.

A newt tadpole! So cool! I need a helper, do I ever want a helper! Because I avoid talking about things I can't do or wish I could do.
So I will just get someone to do it for me, I'm a problem solver.:dhd:

Oh crap, some of my new plants had tiny snails on them and I doubt I got all of them off... but I hope I did.
They shouldn’t hurt anything since you have your filter system buried. Shouldn’t.

Some pet shops might take some as a trade. So long as they aren’t native. I think it’s actually illegal to keep native species.

Good morning, Friends! I'm still trying to decide what I want to do today. Bunny is going on vacation on April 1 and returns on the ninth so I thought it might be a good idea to wait until then to start my wall project. Bunny and her sister in law are going to France.

It's another beautiful day and I'm out of coffee so I might take my Power Wheels to Kroger and get coffeed up!

I might get me another Delta-8 cartridge too! Do any of you guys remember 3.2% beer? That's what Delta-8 reminds me of, watered down weak ass weed! Gall dang it anyway!
