No better exposure for a shot being drafted then the publicity UNLV was getting by being ranked continuing to win. He could have negotiated through one more game and still had a year. I think he fucked up all around. He isn't looking good so far.
Yeah not gonna disagree at all. Had he stayed and balled out and maybe farted around and got UNLV into the playoffs then he'd surely been able to get a job on staff at UNLV at the very least after he was done playing.

I would have gone for an LOI (Letter of Intent). Not having anything on paper is worth exactly $0.00. Even a Letter of Intent, while not binding is at least something written in clear terms implying seriousness. ATM he's got squat.
