Oh….the Olympics actually started? This is just weird.

This is pretty shocking. At first reading your post I figured Sweden is always good, and it’s just one game in a tournament. Then I read up on the game. Sheesh. Maybe it’s to old guard too long. Maybe it’s just mixing in the new pieces they’ve had to add.

Not shocking. I actually got to watch it. Turnover fest, midfield and defense run over. I was curious because I knew Sweden is a good team. Number 5 in the world. But this good? They were good. Should have been 4 or 5 nil. Yes the old guard too long. You saw that with Germany in 2018, Spain in 2014. You win so much, the trust factor overrides the age factor. 2 years since last major tournament like this.

Yes Olympics started. Men tomorrow. Germany vs Brazil 4:30 AM PST. Tough out west here for these games.
 
I can’t say if I’ll watch much. I guess the NBC app will have the games like they did in 2016
 
If they don’t start winning, how will they be able to demonstrate during the national anthem? Maybe they will just have to disrespect a different country.

Where do they get these rosters for the men lol? Watching Germany vs Brazil. Richarlison starting striker for Brazil as he was at COPA. Just scored twice. Did Everton release him for this again? I am surprised. He is terrorizing an even shittier German defense than senior team. Mostly aging or lesser know younger players. Malcom lol on the team. Dani Alves lol. Germany doesn't have anyone like Richarlison. Max Kruse. Amiri from Leverkusen. Schlotterbeck from Freiburg.
