USC and UCLA planning to leave for B10 by 2024!

@Knight&Day

List one thing in my post that is wrong to actually back up your face plant. You can't because I am CORRECT.

LSU has a more recent title than Ohio State or Clemson. Has more titles since 2000 than both programs, and has been one of the most winningest programs since 2000. You cannot say Clemson and Ohio State and NOT list LSU as one of the powers.

Clemson & OHST are actually consistent at 10+ win seasons, winning conf. titles, & making the CFP.

LSU, not so much. Plus, they’re still dealing with the whole scandal thing.

A top 5-6 CFB power, LSU is not.

So.............anyone that can remember 1981 is old, huh?

I like you as a poster but this is a ludicrous post.

This just reeks of desperation to justify a claim of SEC being a 1-team team which is a BAD argument.

Hell even Florida, who you are trolling, went 11-2, beat Georgia, and beat Georgia again in standings by winning SEC East in just 2019. They also have as many National Titles as Clemson and Ohio State this millenia so maybe they should be in the list as well.

Call me an SEC nut swinger but I just want to call out facts. The SEC is just Alabama argument is lame and you know it.
LSU is 11-12 in the last two years. Outside of the National Title season -- they have averaged 4 losses in the other 9 years.

Since Florida won their last national title -- they have averaged over 4 losses a season. They have lost 11 games the last two years.

The last time Ohio State lost 4 games in a season when they had a full time head coach was 2004. Last time Alabama lost 4 games in a season was 2007. Clemson hasn't lost 4 games in a season in a decade.

The truly elite in CFB right now is Bama, Clemson, Ohio State. Georgia is the newest addition because of the ridiculous recruiting they have achieved under Kirby Smart.

You have about 10-12 teams in the 2nd tier, but it is way behind those 4 teams. That is where LSU and Florida would be.

Bama has 18 losses total in the last 14 years. Ohio State has 12 losses in the last 10 years and have finished in the top 6 of the final rankings 8 years in a row. Clemson has 17 losses in the last 10 years and had a 6 year stretch where they finished in the top 4 in the final rankings, before having their bad year in 2021 where they finished 14th.

This just reeks of desperation to justify a claim of SEC being a 1-team team which is a BAD argument.
And I didn't say they were a 1 team conference. I gave Georgia their due, as they will be a national power as long as they keep recruiting like they have.

But what made the SEC the most feared conference is.......................Alabama.

Is 3 greater than 2? Basic Kindergarten math.

LSU 3 National Titles (2003, 2007, 2019)
Clemson 2 National Titles (2016, 2018)
Ohio State 2 National Titles (2002, 2014)

LSU has more titles and a more recent title than both.

Don't give me 10+ wins, they play in shit leagues and that is the point of my post. They don't have 10+ wins playing in the SEC West every season in that same span as LSU. Using your logic, teams like Liberty and Cincinnati are elite because 10+ wins.

National Titles are what matter. LSU belongs in same sentence as Clemson and Ohio State.

So essentially what you are saying is -- the only conference that isn't "shit" is the SEC? And you don't think you are a SEC nut swinger? Good lord.

If LSU is elite right now with a record of 11-12 the last two years -- Is Florida a juggernaut? They are 14-11 the last two years. Or do elite programs just decide to take a couple years off?

Oklahoma, Texas and Oregon. Here's a link. Now start plugging some numbers into it and then imagine what the California boys are going to be thinking when they step off the plane in November playing those away games.

No one is scared. You Midwestern guys have tried to claim this is some sort of advantage for decades. It's not. College Football is played in the fall, not the winter. For every game that's below freezing, five are played at normal temps. And the later on the season, the more likely it's a conference game with another team who is from the same region.

I'm lost -- are you trying to say when UCLA and USC join the B1G -- they will only play away games at the beginning of the season?

I have a better one. Texas fans said we would not get good Texas recruits because we left the Big XII. Texas is now saying they cannot recruit as good as aTm because A&M left the Big XII. Texas is now leaving the Big XII for the SEC so they can recruit better. Make up your minds all friggin ready!!

I am saying Nebraska will play USC in LA at 10pm then will play Rutgers in Piss-cat-away at 11am the next week. And THEN back to a 10pm game the next week in Pasadena against UCLA. Book it!!

That is gonna be a lot of trips to the central and eastern time zones every year for conference games. I’m sure it makes sense from a financial standpoint, but from a pure football standpoint, I’d hate it if I were a fan of one of the SoCal teams
They may have 500 to 1000 travel in full force to the sub zero wind chill games in early/mid November to MI, OH & WI

You are literally claiming that Ohio State and Clemson are in a tier above LSU when they have won a Championship more recently and have won more.

Yes, I don't think they are 10+ teams every year in SEC West. So sue me.

I'm sure everyone will have complaints. It is what it is.
