Vegas giving Tennessee no respect? (+7.5)

Lets also not forget that on that 27 yard run by Mullings in the 4th, they got away with not one but two blatant holds on JTT and Sawyer that would have turned that into a 3rd and 16 at their own 46 instead of 1st down at our 17. Then again, we literally didn't get a single holding call on opposing OLs in conference play all year so no surprise.

I try not to even think about those since they are usually missed for both teams.

I'm with you most of the time, but it particularly stands out given the fact, again, that we had zero holding calls against opposing OLs in conference play, and only 2 on the entire year. That seems mathematically impossible but here we are.

I'm sure officials constantly hear the bullshit about how biased they are toward Ohio State, so it's like they almost go out of their way to over compensate so they don't look biased at all.

Your DTs ate us up when we ran up the gut, that's obvious. That's the point. When you lose the best center in the nation along with a first round LT which causes you to move the other lineman around to other spots, logic would say don't waste 1/3 of your plays on runs straight up the gut against two first round DTs. We didn't do that against other more physical teams like Iowa, Penn State, or Indiana but we did it against michigan. Again, this is my entire point. When we let Howard lead the offense with the run game being more of a supplement, we moved the ball well. When we let the run game lead (particularly up the gut on first down, which we did a maddening number of times), we lost any sort of rhythm and were basically starting each set of downs on second and long.

It was an absolute dogshit scheme we didn't do in any other game this year. Like I said, everyone seems to know this but you.
I didn't know we could play the injury game too. That's a new excuse, especially when Michigan has beaten Ohio without many of their best players over the last 4 years. We didn't have All-American Blake Corum one year. We didn't Mike Morris when he was the B1G player of the year on defense on year. We didn't have All-American Will Johnson this year. Should I keep going?

What Michigan did was take away what Ohio wanted to do. Why? Because we controlled the line of scrimmage -- Ohio couldn't run the ball when we ran our base defense. They couldn't run the ball when we were in Nickel.

And you ran the ball on early downs because your drives started at your 3 yard line, your 6 yard line, your 7 yard line, your 12 yard line. Guess what Howard did when they trusted him to throw the ball deep in your own zone? He gave Michigan a TD.

It is laughable to hear how you didn't do this in any other game, as you threw the ball 33 times against UM and only threw more against Oregon.

I LOVE IT. Now still shots in a football game. These are new to your excuse arsenal. Props. I can promise you, no one is more sad that Sawyer and JTT are leaving than UM fans. I heard UM fans were petitioning the NCAA to give them an extra year. Outside of Ryan Day -- Those two guys are fan favorites.

My god, you idiot, we're not even really disagreeing here. Our OL is a wreck right now and very well may cost us the game this Saturday. Yes, we couldn't run the ball up the gut, we are agreeing there. Your DL was clearly better than our OL basically every time we tried running up the middle (I think we had a couple of plays that got like 5 yards and that's it). If by saying you took away what we wanted to do, you mean you clearly were stopping us each time we idiotically tried running up the middle, I agree with you. Are you trying to say that, no matter what Day/Chip/anyone else did, it was impossible for us to win?

I mean, there are articles written about how you got away with holding on that play. It never should have come down to that one play being that significant, and we didn't deserve to win either way, but that was par for the course with OSU this year. We benefitted the least from opposition penalties in all of college football, and by a wide margin.

No -- you could have won, Michigan has one of the worst offenses in, not only the B1G, but ALL OF CFB. We won because of Will Howard. We only won by 3 because of Davis Warren.

Let me guess -- Eleven Warriors wrote about it. Never seen a fan base make more excuses and then insist they aren't making excuses.

Yeah, congratulations on that title. I even said so at the time. For this year, you guys sucked. Just pointing that out is all.
Ty for pointing that out. Michigan's offense speaks for itself though and it was worse than just saying it sucked.

Since we are passing out compliments -- Notre Dame is one of the best Independent teams in CFB this year.

I mean, you won because of our playcalling, that's not a question at this point, but I guess believe what you want. Had we come into the game with same gameplan as we did against better teams like Iowa, PSU, Indiana, or Oregon, we would have rolled you easily. Thankfully for you guys, Day had an axe to grind and everyone else on our side had to pay for his idiocy.
