Vegas giving Tennessee no respect? (+7.5)

Let me guess -- Eleven Warriors wrote about it. Never seen a fan base make more excuses and then insist they aren't making excuses.
I found these two on the first page of a simple google search. I'm sure there are more out there.

Gotta say, I'm pretty conflicted on this game. Not necessarily conflicted on who will win the game, but who I want to win the game.

On one hand, if tOSU loses, Day in all likelihood will be out, which is good.

On the other hand, if tOSU wins, they'll get a shot at some redemption for their lost to Oregon, which I would like. Bad part of that is if they beat Tennessee and then Oregon, Day might be back for 2025.

Pros and cons, pros and cons. . .

I mean, you won because of our playcalling, that's not a question at this point, but I guess believe what you want. Had we come into the game with same gameplan as we did against better teams like Iowa, PSU, Indiana, or Oregon, we would have rolled you easily. Thankfully for you guys, Day had an axe to grind and everyone else on our side had to pay for his idiocy.
Yep -- Day only completed 55% of his passes for 170 yards. And Day is the reason your drives started inside the 5, inside the 10 and inside the 15 yard line over and over. Day is also the reason for the int inside your 20 and inside our 20.

You threw the ball THIRTY THREE TIMES!!!!! THIRTY THREE!

You are right. It was the refs. It was the injuries. It was Ryan Day. It was Chip Kelly. It was the play calling. Am I missing anything? It definitely wasn't the QB.

Since the likelihood of Day being fired is low, I think you gotta root for the team to make a run

Go Bucks!

Day isn't getting fired unless maybe we get completely embarrassingly blown out.

You think he's not getting fired if he loses to Tenn at home?

I'd be pretty surprised.

Unless the AD is blowing smoke up his ass by saying he remains committed to Day, he's not getting fired this year.

Now if he goes 9-3 and misses the playoffs, which is I think realistic next season, it'll be different come this time next year.

You mean you actually want to discuss Ohio St/Tennessee?

BLASPHMEMY!!

Like all other Ohio St threads, WhoPhoneDis has turned it into page after page of (wash, rinse, repeat) Ohio St/Michigan.

Will Howard vs Penn State, Indiana, Oregon, and Iowa (4 teams with better pass defenses than michigan): 230 passing ypg, 13 total TD, 3 INT

Will Howard vs michigan with a completely different gameplan than against the other 4 teams: 175 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT

Yep, the gameplan had nothing at all to do with it. Also what does Howard have to do with our starting field position?

I like it. @NewPhoneWhoDis just continues to troll his rival. Just manipulating him like a a master puppeteer.

That douche doesn't need any encouragement.

We're on page 8. WhoPhoneDis injected Michigan into the thread on page 2.
Since then it's been post after post/page after page of Ohio St/Michigan.

Init Thoughs
- Two great defenses going H2H
- OSU home field advantage (+3/+4 edge right there)
- Nico has gotten better over the season but I still give the edge to Howard in this game
- Biggest factor: OSU WRs and having more answers on offense to move the ball

I'm comfortable taking OSU in pick'ems. Probably wouldn't touch them at -7.5 but I can see under 47 as a play
I have little confidence in the offense for two reasons: the depleted OL and playcalling. More so, the OL. TEN will look to use the same gameplan as Michigan if they are smart and it fits their bill all year

I have little confidence in this game. Bad draw

I am leaning towards the OSU ML....I don't trust -7.5 points. Think it will come down to a FG.

Bet the house and go opposite.....

Now put the game time temperature and wind for each game. Also, put up the rushing stats for Ohio in those games. You see -- when a team can stop you running the ball with the bare minimum in the box, which Michigan did against Ohio, you can take away the pass, by playing the safeties over the top.

And where was Howard when he threw the pick early in the game? I will give you a hint, it was deep in your own end. When your QB hands the other team a touchdown with a brutal interception deep in your own zone. The coaching staff isn't about to continue to drop back and throw deep in your own zone, when Michigan's offense is one of the worst in all of CFB.
