Waffle House and college football success

You think Georgia, Texas, Florida, Tennessee, and the Carolinas are drive through states?
Michigan is the aged actress still trying to dine out on her looks. Dunking on the 2nd and 3rd most populated states and several other rapidly growing ones.

You can get from Chattanooga to Valdosta in like 4 hours.
Unless you’re driving overnight there’s no way you can get through Atlanta unscathed to cover that distance in 4 hours

Im beginning to think some of y'all have never actually had good food with claims that Waffle House and Dennys are "good"

More your speed?

There's no waffle house's in California I don't think, at least not around my area. Last time I went to one was like 10+ years ago when I was in Texas and went on occasion when I lived in areas that had one.

We only have Dennys and Ihop here, which Ihop is compeltely disgusting.

We used to hit up Dennys back in the younger drinking days when we were out until after 2AM. It was good when drunk and hungry at least lol. I went there a couple months ago because it sounded good for some reason. Got some nasty ass burnt rubbery eggs and bacon that was burnt to a crisp. With some mediocre pancakes.
i was stuck in the OC for work for 3 weeks and craved some waffle house. None in Cali but found a great mom and pop place called the Redhill Cafe in Santa Ana and it was great.

Does this mean Stetson Bennett needs to change jobs? Leave Raising Canes for Waffle House...

That still doesn't make it a drive through state. Lots to do in both of those states and beautiful country as well.

Honestly, I'd enjoy a trip to the smokeys over a Florida trip most of the time anyway. Only thing that keeps me going to Florida more often is I have family there
“The sun has riz the sun has set and here I is in Texas yet”.

Yeah, I wouldn't want to drive across that state. But when I hear drive through state, I think there is nothing to do in the state and you are literally just passing through it to get to the better one

Sitting in a booth at a truck stop on I-20 in Sweewater, TX after Christmas one year. Guy came in and sat in the booth next to me. Told the waitress, “I’ve been driving in this state all day. I’m going to be out of it by dark.” In good old oil field waitress fashion, she said, “Sweetheart, unless you have an airplane, you ain’t gonna be.”

👍El Paso is closer to San Diego than Houston.
About a month ago I made a quick trip to Orange from Lake charles. Crossing the Sabine River, the mile marker was 863. 863 miles from the Sabine River to the New Mexico border. mf! One of these days, I might try that trip. Highly unlikely, but I might. Maybe try to go to Vegas this summer. If I do, I'll head on down I-10 to El Paso and points west.

Where is @AlaskaGuy he always made fun of Waffle Houses. The only problem with Waffle House is the likelyhood of ending up being in a fight.
I had Waffle House when I went to Hilton Head this year. It reminds me of a breakfast version of White Castle.

Inexpensive food with a restaurant filled with shady characters, where you feel like the place is going to get robbed at gun point or you will fight your way out of the place.

We flew into Houston one time and spent like a week and a half driving throughout Texas. Still can't believe the size of that fucker.

I think realistically, driving through Georgia North to South is like 6 hours if you do it straight.

the worst is driving to Orlando coming in on I-10 and the panhandle.

seems like it take 4 days to drive Florida

Most don't realize how big Michigan is -- It takes me 7 hours to drive from my house in Michigan to my Aunt's house in the UP. I could drive to Tennessee quicker than it takes to drive to her house. It SUCKS making that drive.

Driving the length of California will take longer than driving the width of Texas.
