I'm sure there are different levels, but the primary paralegal i work with I only know is a little under 50K, I know that because she wasn't furloughed

U has better benefits than private sector, so that is factor

Ours makes a good amount over that, but she's the one that is quitting. Our intern is at $15/hr....which technically there's no requirement to pay her. That's about $30k a year. Not sure how much we'll offer her to take the full-time position in a few weeks.

I figured she was on low end. She did say she made more working as a corporate paralegal but likes workload here better and better benefits.

She gets pension, really good insurance, etc.

Yeah....there ain't no pension here. And you only qualify for retirement after 3 years.
