I'm so nervous about the Nebraska game. Nebraska is looking for a game like this and there's this weird rivalry-light we've had with them since the 97 championship. It's @nebraska and it's a night game and I could absolutely see us stumbling and losing this game. We've been letting a few teams hang around too long and haven't been able to hit the killshot until late in the game. We also haven't played from behind a single time this season.

Relax. This is the Nebraska that lost to Illinois in the opener after an off-season of Kool Aid.
They'll follow the win over a bad Northwestern team by laying another egg. It's what they've been doing for 3 years now. This team gobbles up any weekly praise and shits digested Little Caesars $5 Hot & Now's right down their legs.
The chances of Nebraska playing another undisciplined, penalty, and turnover ridden game is far higher than them playing another clean one a week later.

Frost has never won more than two games in a row at Nebraska. Those were....

2021: Fordham (FCS), Buffalo (2-3)
2020: NONE
2019: Northern Illinois (5-7), Illinois (6-7)
2018: Minnesota (7-6), Bethune Cookman (FCS) and Illinois (4-8), Michigan State (7-6)


A good 2 team parlay this week is Iowa -2.5 and Michigan -3.

That's what I'm saying, seems like a perfect game to target if you're Frost to get a bunch of monkeys off your back. Beat Michigan, top 10 win, 3rd in a row, underdog win....ect

UK over Alabama? Kind of a load of crap. Here are the schedules lined up:

Alabama:

Miami 44-13
Mercer 48-14
@Florida 31-29
Southern Miss 63-14
Ole Miss 42-21

Kentucky:

ULM 45-10
Missouri 35-28
Chattanooga 28-23
@ South Carolina 16-10
Florida 20-13

Sorry, I don't see it. Alabama beat Ole Miss who is better than anyone on UK's schedule, won @ Florida, and played a power 5 team OOC.

UK has played one more SEC team but their opponents were Missouri and South Carolina.

Already, I have an issue with one pick so I am also questioning now the other picks. Iowa and Penn State have both played tougher schedules than Michigan to date, IMO.

Compared to the other 23 games (losses) that were 'a perfect game for Frost to target'?

I have no explanation for why he can't keep these players focused from week-to-week.
I can only guess these players only respond to relentless criticism from the media and fans after laying eggs. Any praise is treated with 'Whew, party time. We finally shut them up. We don't have to work hard this week.'

Nebraska has faced two other top 10 teams in the last 3 weeks and has held them both to just 23 points, and was close to taking both out.

Kentucky is 5 points better than Alabama based on common opponents.

Wonder if we break the Top 15 when we beat OU?
