thats not indirect. that still doesnt mean i didnt want football to play. At that time testing wasnt what it is now. they were still working on rapid tests. I never didnt want football to play. i just always wanted it to play as long as it was safe.

yeah that was my first thought when I saw the plan of rolling 8 games in 8 weeks, then the CCG which everyone will be playing.

The NFL gets one bye over 17 weeks lol. They will be fine. the only possible issue is no covid makeup time.

What a douche. I can remember in boot camp our Drill Sergeants loved to add pushups by shouting "One more for your Mama!, One more for Chesty!, One more for baby Jesus!", etc. I don't remember ever hearing them shout "One more for some fucking journalist!".

Yes please show me 8 straight games, in this century, that schools played 8 consecutive saturdays without any bye week in between. Look I'm not shitting on the BIG playing, I just find it odd that everyone says health is paramount, yet these assholes decide to postpone the season long enough to have 8 straight weeks of games with no margin for error.. COVID shit aside, playing that schedule is tough, especially for the outside shot of getting into the CFP as well.

But hey, if keyboard warriors and pencil pushers in the admin say, they can take it, they can take it.
