weekend could have been a day longer.

not happy that I wasted 3 hours of my day yesterday watching that terrible Eagles game.

Eh, the first hour or so was pretty good. Wheels fell off in a hurry, though.
 
Morning. Had to put my dog down on Friday night. Holding her as she crossed over the rainbow bridge was one of the worst experiences of my life. Been there before but this dog was special so this one was especially hard.
 
First soccer game went well. Kids are still playing bunch ball, but I saw a couple flashes of understanding spacing and defense.

Went to the shore on Saturday. Waves were too rough to really get a good swim in, though. Did get to take Little Guy down to the water and dip his feet in.

Wife drove for the first time since her stroke yesterday, and did well. Hope we can keep making good progress there.

Really liked having that extra day off last weekend with Labor Day, this weekend went too fast

I didn't have high hopes for Vikings, and well, they got even lower after yesterday
 
Played some tennis Saturday, and rode about 22 miles yesterday. Went to the bar to watch the Bengals game... Sucked, but Joe has me optimistic.

Drove over a shard of metal, and got a flat Saturday... That sucked
 
Eagles look like they will dominate a scrub team then lose by 10 and the Phillies get swept by the marlins. Nice little sports Sunday.
 
so this girl I was teaching golf/sleeping with is doing something real weird.

she stayed over Friday night. I met her at a friend's house and drove us back to my house.

next morning I had tennis, so I am getting ready. I say "don't forget your necklace that's here on the dresser. She goes "no, I'm going to leave that there." ...why? Whatever...

drive her to her car and she isn't wearing any shoes. She said "oh I left my shoes at your house too"

I think she is thinking that I am bringing other girls home and she wants her stuff to be seen...but I'm not bringing any other girls home so I don't get it.

also, I look in the corner where her shoes are and her bra is there too.

this chick might be crazy.

even better that the Phils were shut down by one of their own top prospects that they traded to Miami.

Also... She's definitely pulling the goalie. At least you and @RubinRock can go through fatherhood at the same time

Sorry about your loss. Losing a pet is tough.
 
Well not going into the office today. Got an email from work on Saturday saying someone tested positive but was asymptomatic. Have a covid test scheduled this morning. But I think they are planning on opening the office back up tomorrow, but I won’t get results back for 2-3 days. Sooo not sure how that’s gonna work out.
