Have you ever been to Starkville, Mississippi? It's not a college town that recruits on its own like other towns. Mississippi has some good players, but it isn't like Florida, Georgia, Texas, California, and other hotbeds of highs school recruits. They don't have a ton of tradition. Never really won anything. They have to play LSU, Bama, Auburn, TAMU every year. Then KY and OM. Then one of UF, UGA, UTjr every few years. It's going to be really hard to win there, but if anyone has a chance it will be Leach.Just curious. In your opinion, do you think MSU CAN win the conference with any kind of "it" if they are unable to get the caliber of recruits of at Bama, LSU, Florida, Georgia, Auburn, etal?
That said, don't think that the SEC teams won't adjust to his offense. We will and we have the players on D to counter it. Everyone thought Oregon's offense was going to be the next big thing. It was good for a few years, then people figured it out. Can Leach build a defense? That could be the key for him.
But, I love having Leach in the SEC. He's just good for college football.
