What did you get for Christmas?

I’m a Woodford guy and if I want to mix it up then I’ll typically go with their wheat or malt whiskey. If I want Rye then it’s Bullet hands down.

Both very good as well. Much like IPAs, I like to try different offerings to switch it up, but do have my go-tos. If something is on sale, it may change my mind from my intended purchase.

I almost bought a Rolex but I just wasn’t comfortable with the idea of that much wealth advertisement. Went with a TAG Heuer and got the model with a stop watch feature. Love it and was great when I coached the kids in soccer and basketball.
Tag's are awesome, one of these days I'll add one to my collection. Sounds like you got the Carerra? If so, that's the very one I'd like to get for myself, one day.

And if you ever decide to get a Rolex but want to keep it low-key, might I suggest the Explorer I:

brushed stainless steel, not polished, very simple dial, just a sharp-looking watch with nothing ostentatious about it. I don't own this one, but one of the higher-ups in my company has it, and every time he comes around our department, i can't help but to stare at it.

Mines a Carrera in quartz blue. It’s about 12 years old now and I just had it cleaned and tuned up so it runs like a champ.

I have had enough bourbon in my life that I now only e-drink it with @ukfanfrombirth(cali cat). I keep my cabinet mostly with Irish whiskeys and a couple mid range single malt scotches.

Mostly different Jameson varieties and Red Breast

I'm not one to buy a bottle of scotch, since the peat flavor doesn't hit home with me, however, I did enjoy a dram of Johnny Walker Blue last year from my wife's uncle that got a bottle for his birthday. Would love to try Macallan, but likely won't find someone near me that drinks scotch or anything expensive.
