What did you get for Christmas?

A new Laz-E-Boy, Screwball whiskey, a bag full of shooters, a new toothbrush, some range gear including a S&W M&P backpack to put it in, and a BJ by the X-Mas tree.

Best xmas gift Ive read yet......And its most the best gift....👍

In addition to the chest freezer, my mom gave me $500, a silver coin (tradition, that will probably be passed down once grandkids arrive), some gloves, socks, sweats, and masks. Brother got me some ProV's and a spice rack.

I buy 3 oz of silver bullion coins and bars for my two kids and my two grandkids every year for Christmas......
I just had a granddaughter born on the 22nd and already she has 3oz of silver.....
My grandson I buy a tenth of gold every year for his birthday which he qill recieve his 4th gold coin in Jan.....

Best part of it all, they dont know I have it.......
Its all saved in a safe and they wont be getting it till Im about to die....

If you dont mind me asking, coins? Bars? and where have they been bought from.....?

They're all coins. 1 Troy oz. They are holiday themed and all have the year stamped on them.

My grandpa started it for all of us grandkids, and my mom has continued it for us. None of my brothers or I have kids yet. Like I said previously, that will probably be passed down once we do. I'm not sure where they get them.

I just keep mine in a little safe (well...I have 2011-2020. The rest are in my mom's safe, I think).

I'd never sell them unless I had to.

I also buy a 30-20 and 10$ scratchoffs for all of them and save the grandkids winnings.....
My grand daughters very first scratchoff was a 50$ winner.......2nd one was a 10......

And it will be up them all what they do qith Ive saved for them......

LOL, got a late Christmas present. Earlier this month I drunkenly told Wifey that I wished Bigfoot was real. She bought me this shirt but in blue.

The regular isn't bad to drink neat, but it's like Jim or Jack to me and are better suited to be mixed.

Four Roses Single Barrel is really nice and I can always get it at my local ABC store. Henry McKenna and Blantons always seem to be sold out by the time I get there, but if it is, I'll grab one each time.
I grabbed a bottle of Buffalo Trace last time I was in NJ. Nothing fancy, but it's good stuff when you can find it.

I also have a bottle of Four Roses Single barrel, Widow Jane 10 yr, Wild Turkey 101, Douglass and Todd small batch...and a bottle of Johnny Drum in my office for display since it is what I drank the night my dad passed away.

Buffalo Trace is good stuff too, but I don't think I've ever come across a Bourbon i didn't drink. Maybe not buy again, but nothing i ever set aside.

My mom tried real hard to buy me an Auburn flag for my boat but ended up buying one of those dumb flags you roll your window on and ride wound in the car.

Unlike @ill I just acted excited and slipped it to my nephew when no one was looking.

what kinda gold watch is it gonna be, do you know yet?

if you have a choice, i recommend either of these two:

I almost bought a Rolex but I just wasn’t comfortable with the idea of that much wealth advertisement. Went with a TAG Heuer and got the model with a stop watch feature. Love it and was great when I coached the kids in soccer and basketball.

I got some new overalls, a new Yeti cup(to keep my ice from melting, I don’t do hot drinks) and some more Duluth Trading company drawers
Have you tried the Armachillo underwear from Duluth? It’s all I wear now.

I tried some Four Roses once and I hated it. Was really bummed because lots of guys on here have raved about it. No sure if I got a bad bottle/batch or something
It’s neither bad or great to be honest. For the price you’ll never see me pick up a bottle. I’d drink Bullet all day before 4R.

I’m a Woodford guy and if I want to mix it up then I’ll typically go with their wheat or malt whiskey. If I want Rye then it’s Bullet hands down.
