What time did your team kickoff their home games before Television

Only you, @Jon Deaux and @Kburjr are old enough to remember games before they were televised. There MIGHT be one more guy that is old enough…:beer2:
I'm not quite that old. I first started watching a little cfb a couple of years or so before the Super Bowl came on the seen. Around here, abc was the only place to watch. Most times it was one game. Sometimes they had a national game, then a regional game. Regional being about a third of the country in each region. Every once in a while they had a night game. This is the main reason, when I was that young, I was a SWC and Big 8 fan. Between Oklahoma, Nebraska and Texas kicking ass, I watched those games. Of course always a LSU person, but I don't remember too many SEC games on. AU/UA being the exception. My two "must watch" bowl games was the Cotton Bowl and the Orange Bowl. After a few Rose Bowl games, I quit them. Same game year after year.
As far as this thread goes, LSU home games were night games. As far as I'm concerned, the games played at Tiger Stadium should only be at night. Fuck the day games.

Sugar Bowl was also in my must watch.

I agree with the Rose. Always seemed like the same teams because Big 10/PAC 10 were locked.
My mom had the parade on, but that was pretty much it.

We must have been ahead of our time in El Paso because I know the Sun Bowl had lights as far back as 1973. Our games were nearly always at night...especially early in the season. It was too damn hot for day games.

I remember watching games in the mid 60s but none of them were at night. Always Saturday afternoon games.
