'81 Buck Regal. Mine had over 100k on it and the dash lights would turn off without notice. Was horrible in the snow

First I bought was an 84 Dodge Ram with like 500k miles on it. It still ran fine and that 340 motor was awesome, but there were holes in the floor board and a 5 gallon bucket served as the seat. Sold it before I got my license

First vehicle I could legally drive was a 94 Jeep Cherokee. That 4.0 straight 6 is the best motor ever made. Indestructible. Treated it like shit. Drove it for 8 years, had nearly 400k miles on it when I sold it to a buddy 10 years ago. He still drives it to work everyday so he doesn’t get his nice truck dirty at the marble mine

Straight 6 was a great engine! I had an '89 Ford 150 with one. That thing is prolly still running somewhere

Burgundy 4-door 1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass Sierra I bought for $500 cash from my grandparents when my aunt (who previously used it in high school) went off to college. I drove it through high school then sold it to my cousin for $100 when I shipped off to USAF BMT. It lasted about one more year for him before it was finally beaten to death.

Close.

My first mini bike was a JC Penney MX Duster. I still have it. My kids rode the heck out of it when they were little, and if they have kids they'll ride it too.

My second mini bike was a Honda Trail 70.

My first car was a 1970 Chevelle SS with the 454 LS6. I bought it in 1978 for $800 from a chick who's dad had bought it for her 16th birthday and she hated it. She wanted a VW Beetle instead. LOL

My 2nd car was a 1975 BMW 2002 that I bought when I was stationed in West Berlin, GE. I think I paid $500 for that.

My 3rd car was a 1973 Mustang convertible with the 351 Cleveland. I think I paid like $1200 for that.

I regret selling the Chevelle and the Mustang.

I asked my dad at the dinner table if I could buy the '70 Chevelle SS. He said "No, you'll kill yourself in that thing".

I bought it and parked it on the street 2 blocks away. I'd walk out the door, walk down the street, jump in and drive to school.

A few weeks later my buddy and I were in my driveway tuning it up. Had a timing light on it and had just installed new points, condenser, rotor, distributer cap, plugs, and wires.
My dad happened to get off work early that day and rolled into the driveway. He got out, looked at me, shook his head and said "You bought it anyway didn't you?"

He asked "What are you doing to it?" I replied "Tuning it up". He said "How the hell do you know how to do that?"
I said "Auto shop at school dad."

He just shook his head again and went into the house. The dinner table was rather quiet, but the next morning I was parking it in front of our house. LOL

1973 Chevrolet Malibu SS that was in much worse shape than in the picture….

My '70 was this color green with the black racing stripes, but it didn't have the vinyl top.
It had the cowl induction hood.
Mickey Thompson 50's on the rear. They didn't get around for shit in the snow.
