Most golf courses around here are attached to a gated community.

Hell, the closest golf course to me is in the middle of nowhere, yet John Smoltz and a couple other former Braves players have houses there. Membership was like 50k a year 10 years ago. Never been through the gates, but the property does backup to my great uncle’s pasture, where I hunt sometimes. I’ve killed a few big bucks there that I’m pretty sure came over from the golf course
