Mainly because I honestly have no place to store it

Ugh. Looks like the outside decorations will be coming down this Saturday. Potential rain/sleet for Sunday, a chance of snow Monday then temps in the teens for the next week or so.

Fuck winter.

First day it hasn’t rained or snowed, so maybe today

All outside decorations down and stored. Had to pour water on the floodlight stakes to loosen them.

Fuckin cold out today and forecasted to be the same for the next 10 days.

Welcome to Winter??? :rolleyes2: :heh:

When the weather supports it. Took mine down couple days ago and cleaned out the dryer vent while i was on the roof. Snowing today FTW.

I didnt put up anything this year.

We weren’t hosting and I had no Christmas spirit. Not even a tree.

But usually I’d take em down the week after New Years or whenever things thawed next.

The place we go get our trees from was sold out the week after Thanksgiving. So that contributed.

I want it down, packed, and back in the attic so I can have my garage space back.

I set out traps for cats.

Per our convo on the other thread...Cat is something you'd definitely want a sous vide for. Gotta cook 'em low and slow otherwise the meat is tough and stringy.

I've never ate cat. But I have eaten squirrels, rabbits and even raccoon before.

Rabbits tend to have a sweet taste if farm raised and a very strong game taste if wild harvested. Coons taste the same...maybe a little stronger game taste. (I've only ate wild coon)

There is some glands you need to remove before cooking coons. All these animals are quite delicious when smoked and then cooked in a brown gravy.

I would imagine cat tastes similar...
