Yes. It’s a bit pricey.
If to the southwest... Then be prepared to BYOW, the way things are going there nowadays.IF I live long enough to retire, it depends on the wife. If she's still around, we'll probably stay in the Northeast. If not, i'd like to move to the Southwest.
Only spent a few days on Oahu, long enough to see Pearl Harbor and a couple beaches, drove around the entire Island. Kauai was great because it was so undeveloped, felt way more relaxing.I like Kauai a lot as well. I’m not much of a Maui or Oahu fan comparatively, but there is a lot more to do on Oahu.
I knew water rights were a thing in the real estate market out there, even before the drought conditions. I probably wouldn't want to live in the desert, either the mountains or the high plainsIf to the southwest... Then be prepared to BYOW, the way things are going there nowadays.

Warm? You ever been to Texas between May and October?I like the idea of settling somewhere like northern Texas where its warm most of the time, but gets cool enough in the winter too.... with like 25-50 acres of do-whatever-the-fuck-I-want-land
Unless it's desert or mountains I'm done with land after decades of yard work and toiling in the veggie garden. That's why boat living is pretty appealing right now.with like 25-50 acres of do-whatever-the-fuck-I-want-land
Dude, I live in Nebraska and the wifes brother (who now lives in Texas) used to live in Oklahoma, we would visit and the "cold" they get there is fucking NOTHING.Warm? You ever been to Texas between May and October?
He means the unbearable heat during the "warm" monthsDude, I live in Nebraska and the wifes brother (who now lives in Texas) used to live in Oklahoma, we would visit and the "cold" they get there is fucking NOTHING.
Oh, yeah I guess I didn't even pay attention to the months he listed. He means the unbearable heat during the "warm" months
I'll strip down to my skivies any day to live in warmth.Oh, yeah I guess I didn't even pay attention to the months he listed.
Maybe it will be Utah or something where I can catch a breeze of the mountains. Most of my family lives in Arizona, so it isn't like I am not used to heat either. Dry in AZ and humid in NE. But I do prefer the cold to the heat most of the time.
If only we could all invest in climate change and keep it a solid 68 degrees all the time.
I told you before that is not OK at the kids soccer games.I'll strip down to my skivies any day to live in warmth.
Cold weather just pisses me off.
I am not saying I want to live in 4 feet of snow forever lol.I'll strip down to my skivies any day to live in warmth.
Cold weather just pisses me off.
My wife wants Hawaii, but it’ll probably depend on where our kids settle and if there are grandchildren.
From your lips (er, fingertips) to God's ears, brother...Oh, yeah I guess I didn't even pay attention to the months he listed.
