Where's the Tuesday Thread?

We could have played in the fall last year, but I don't want to deal with competing sports, and Ham wanted to play soccer. It's going to get to be enough of a pain in the ass balancing sports with the dance stuff she's started doing, I can't imagine trying to play two sports in a season.

I just can’t lob a half-length pitch overhand. I’m relatively accurate throwing overhand at normal lengths and speeds, but trying to kneel down and soft toss a ball over the plate? No chance.

Frauding exercise/competition.

You playing cards with children was probably about as physically taxing as lawn bowling.

Baseball is done in about a month, but before it finishes Deuce will be in flag football and have a weekly hockey camp. That’s going to be a lot.

Did Pnk claim he was doing it for exercise?

And they keep score...so it’s obviously a competition. And even if they didn’t keep score, people do things for fun sometimes. I know that’s difficult for you to understand having never learned how to have friends, but you are smart enough to figure this out.

And now I’m going to be smart enough to step out of this vortex.

Did I claim that pnk claimed he was doing it for exercise?

I also pointed out that if it's a drink and talk thing, you might as well just sit on a stool without playing a "sport"(?) that is designed for 75 year old people.

b2b meetings. Yuck

neither meeting was anything really relevant

Meeting 1, I learned:
I might (most likely) get 1.5% raise
My vacation bank most likely will go from 176-216, But if I quit or get fired, they'll still only pay out 176
I might be able to continue to work from home

that took an hour, could've been done via email

meeting 2

I'm not sure what I've learned, I'm not really paying attention

I had a meeting earlier with a client who, not two months ago, complained to my VP that they hadn't seen an audit on one of their accounts in over a year. Today, the same people praised the audit that I'd completed near the end of 2020 since they'd seen a 10% savings in the last three months.

Doubt that will get to my VP.

I know youre not going to believe this, and its a huge pain in the ass while in the trenches of kids and sports, but I miss it already.
