Bwhahaha.

If it’s true its pretty obvious that it was a joke. Toughen up buttercup.

You sure express a lot of “hate” for people you’ve never met. You should see someone about that. You’ll be happier in whatever time you have left
Come on now, if you closely follow sports, there's gonna be players you hate that you have never and will probably never meet.

Why are you telling me this? I'm actually defending Ortiz as a player.

Defending him? If I was ever in trouble I wouldn’t want you defending me. All you keep talking about is steroids. I’m still waiting to hear what steroids have to do with anything after 07 which includes his post season performance in 13

That's not good enough, you have to love him, embrace the Big Papi, cup his balls.
He's one of the best hitters of this generation and probably the most clutch player of my lifetime. That doesn't mean I have to like him.

Yeah, abusing a poor female stadium worker who has no idea who you are is pretty fucking funny...

I'm happy enough, you probably should worry about your own problems.

“abusing”?

Bwhahaha.

You’re a joke.

that dude admitted he “hates” me because of the avatar I have and that’s because he “hates” Robert De Niro.

He has obvious problems.

Did you actually read my post?

I didn't condemn Ortiz for using PEDs. I was more or less bitching about how some players who are known to have used PEDs get a pass(Ortiz, Bartolo Colon) while others are crucified(Bonds, A-Rod, etc. Braun deserves to be crucified, not because he used PEDs, but because of how he handled the whole situation)

I went on to say PEDs don't bother me.

what did you say about Ortiz getting into the HOF?

That he shouldn't get in before Bonds and Clemens. Mostly because Bonds and CLemens should have been in a long time ago.

clemens is a legit psycho and an asshole. I have first hand knowledge and have witnessed it personally. You may take issue with Ortiz arguing balls/strikes but that is nothing compared to what I’ve seen Clemens do

Clemens is an asshole and a PED user, he's also one of the best pitchers of all time. I don't like Clemens either, and I'll forever think Mike Piazza is a bitch for not charging him when Clemens threw that chunk of broken bat at him. But being an asshole doesn't exclude you from the HOF.

I'd use the Ty Cobb analogy, but most of the stuff said about Cobb has been debunked.

Ortiz is a guy that you loved him if he was on your team, hated him if he wasn't. The constant bitching about strikes being called strikes, the taking a bat to the dugout phone, and temper tantrums, etc probably fire up the fans of the team, but they turn away fans of other teams.

Chipper Jones is my all time favorite player. Most non Braves fans don't like him.

Yeah, I've evolved.

Now I hate you because you're a stupid douche posting nonsense.

you couldn’t evolve if you tried. Think about what a loser you are: you “HATE” someone because you “HATE” the actor he uses in an avatar even though you’ve never met the actor.

I’d tell you to grow up but we are way past that stage.

Nah. Yaz was a great for sure, but no WS rings hurts his standing in this poll. He polls 4th on my list. He never did connect with the New England sports fans off the field in any way either.

For me personally, Bobby Orr is the one guy I'd love to meet. He was the man when I was coming of age in sports and he was so much better than his contemporaries that it is ridiculous. It doesn't hurt that I was a hockey crazed youngster I suppose.

Brady has to be #2 for me because 6 SB rings is the shit. I certainly can't blame anyone that puts him at #1.

Bird is #3 on my list. 2 rings and highlight reels filled with clutch shot after clutch shot, some of which are outrageous. Bird never made an attempt to connect with the Boston sports fans either, but his bravado (some would say braggadocio) made him so fun to watch and considering he was a big storky looking dude, the antithesis of Brady, I believe lot of fans identify with him.
I'd agree with you on Orr but I am a fair-weather hocky fan and he was before my time.
Yaz was my hero as a kid and I did not know hockey or football.
I remember hanging on the news as Yaz won the triple crown - with a dead ball!
I caught 2 home run balls of Yaz in Oakland in the 70's at one game. there were 5 of us in the stands.....

You remember hanging on the news as Yaz won the triple crown in 1967 but Bobby Orr who's rookie season was 1966-1967 was before your time?
