You need to talk to your fans with "insider info". Georgia doesn't pay for recruits. You simply provide them NIL once they've earned it by doing charity work.

I’d personally be very pissed if that were true.

But I’ve got my own inside sources(or did, he’s not there anymore), and we 100% paid Nakobe Dean and George Pickens handsomely before NIL was a thing. I’m sure there’s others, that’s just the two names confirmed

Deion has been the HC at Colorado for like 2 weeks. These recruits have been getting courted by these coaching staffs and schools for 2, 3, 4+ years. His class this year will look nothing like his recruiting classes moving forward.

Im not sure Colorado will be consistently hauling in 5*s but under Deion their recruiting is going to be a hell of a lot better than it's been the better part of the last 15 years. The shine may eventually wear off but i'd bet on them having pretty good classes for 2024 and 2025 at least.

Unless you have a collective willing to shell out serious cash -- no one is going to consistently pull in 5 star recruits anymore. The fans saying their school is pulling in those recruits with culture or anything else are kidding themselves.

These top ranked recruits are holding winning lottery tickets and this is their chance to cash it in. They may accept slightly less to go to one big program over another, but as you see with what happened at A&M, Miami, etc. -- There will ALWAYS be 5 star kids you can buy.

I heard from someone who seems to be following the goings on in CO and he all but said Dion is trying to poach guys who aren’t even in the portal yet which is way illegal but no one seems to be enforcing anything anymore so he’ll probably get away with it.
