The Braves have some guys that should be pretty huge names in the next coming years. Acuna, Albies, Fried, Soroka, Swanson, and Anderson are all studs and still getting better.

As a kid, I use to pay attention to the Redsox almost as religiously as I did the Braves because of my dad. Use to be able to tell you all the players/stats in the bigs and atleast AAA. Late 2000s I started to lose interest in them, but still sort of kept up with. This year, I maybe knew 3-4 guys on the starting roster.

I liked the Braves as a kid watching their games on TBS. The Maddux/Smoltz/Glavine years. Then went meh on baseball for about a decade.

Its the fact that they have one of the biggest payrolls and best rosters in baseball, and then get a steal with the second best player in the game, that I root against them.

I root for them because the eliminated the cocksucking Braves.

I only really have memories of those guys at the end of their run with the Braves. Maddux was always my favorite. Obviously the organization fell off afterwards. The baby braves era around 2008 brought a lot of hope, but when the new ownership in 07 took over they completely ran the future into the ground. It became apparent they weren't ever going to be the big spends, although Liberty Media could easily afford one of the largest payrolls. So the organization has been wallowing in mediocrity ever since. Only now are they are they on the rise because of great young players on rookie contracts or team friendly deals that work out better than expected. I'm guessing the mid 00's lost a lot of Braves fans.

I wasn't paying attention to your posts, but DJ came in swinging about Douche being a racist and it was pretty obvious that it was spill over from the PF. Then Handi came in with his typical nonsense and it just became too much.
