We may not have a choice down the line but to pitch Smyly and hope he can give us 2-3 innings.

However, last night showed us that the Astros are much better against LHP than the dodgers and the LHP have to be pitching really well for them to limit the Astros
 
This is so fucking stupid! The Dodgers beat the Rays last year as the "home" team but the series was played in Arlington. Really doesn't mean a damn thing.

Astros winning Game 2 at home might be a bad omen for World Series

Astros are the first team to win a home World Series game since 2018, but that might not be a good thing.​

While evening the series at 1-1 may look good on the surface, any fan who's superstitious might not be feeling great about breaking the home-team losing streak.

As mentioned, the 2018 Dodgers were the last team to accomplish the modest feat. But what's important to remember about that team is that was the only game Los Angeles won in that series with the Red Sox taking the title.

Of course, this is a bit different with the Astros and Braves considering that the series now heads to Atlanta where, to win the series over the next three games, the Braves would have to win at home. So really, there's not much of a bad omen to look at.

Even still, it's an odd bit of trivia that Houston is the first team in three years to win at home in the World Series. In the opposite dugout, the Braves are certainly hoping they won't see that trend revived over the next three games.

We are wearing the Red Jerseys tommorow.

I think we have only wore them 1 other time in the postseason(also against Houston)

Edit: we also wore them vs the Giants....Fuck You Brooks Conrad
