Worst Song

David Gilmour didn't even like it. He was quoted as saying "all that whiny Vera Vera shit"

The song is just over a minute long, I think it fit pretty well.

I don't hate the song I just don't like that it was their biggest hit commercially.

Money on Dark Side sticks out like a sore thumb.

FWIW I consider DLR the first tranny
He was a key cog in turning the 1980's rock scene into flamboyant faggotry. Other bands took it farther and much more faggy, though.

I'm a fan of David Gilmour, particularly his guitar playing, but Pink Floyd definately had an artistic drop off when Roger Waters left.
Waters will always be "The Wall". Arguably, they're greatest artistic accomplishment. The band didn't win a Grammy until Waters left, when they released Division Bell, one of my favs. Waters has turned into a progressive asshole now. Can't even listen to the guy.

Strongly disagree. A Momentary Lapse of Reason and Division Bell was some of their finest work IMO.

A lot of times, the most well-known song by a band is one of their worst.

Steppenwolf - the motorcycle song
Deep Purple - Smoke on the Water
Marshall Tucker Band - Can't You See
the who - Pinball Wizard
Rolling Stones - Start Me Up
Skynyrd - Freebird
Canned Heat - Goin' up the Country (which they poached)
Grateful Dead - Truckin'
Allman Brothers - Ramblin' Man

REO Speedwagon. No, wait. That was Kevin Cronin.all by his damn self.

I’m half Jewish, so I’m certainly no fan of Waters as a person, and I don’t listen to his nonsense either, but that doesn’t have anything to do with the music.

Grammys are a bigger joke than Waters’ political views.

I never liked Division Bell. I think Momentary is the best of the Waterless Floyd albums.

Animals was their best IMO.

I dig Momentary, but if I go the rest of my life without hearing Division Bell, I won’t feel like the good Lord gypped me.

Don't get me wrong. I loved Waters when he was with Floyd, but he's done 2/3rds of 4/5ths of fuck all since he left, you know, except being an asshole.
