Yes, but you are in North Mexico. That type of food is ubiquitous.
Its not only fast food places, its also mid level and family sit down restaurants.
Even the cheap local ethnic places I go to are price gouging.

Steak is something I rarely order at a restaurant for the same reason... I do it better than they do.
But if my company is paying... bring on the Ribeye.
Nothing wrong with having 15 "hole-in-the-wall" locations in your area... IF they're GOOD!

Some of the best steak places I've been to were in Monterrey, MX. Mochomos and Sonora Prime. When traveling for work, bring on the tomahawk.

Two Taco Bell bean burritos with added sour cream and a Pepsi just over $8 . One of my mobile go to lunches. Had a Rubios fish taco especial and a topo chico recently and that was $20 but included 20% tip. A bit pricey for the Rubios. Del Taco 3 Chicken Rollers and my own water just over $6. My number #1 cheap fast food item are those Del Taco chicken rollers but there are no more Del Taco’s in the Bay Area. Got these in Rocklin yesterday coming back from Hot August Nights.
