They probably overlooked McPherson for the kicker award because he played for Auburn.

Ah, I see. He made 13 FG's. That doesn't even rank in the top 50 of made FG's in college. 9 of his 13 made FGs were less than an XP distance. So yeah I see why your kicker is good, but he's not the best in the nation when he's got that low sample size.

Also I think there is a "must be this tall" sign next to the stage to accept the award and your kicker is too short. When he has to look up to Stetson Bennet...too short.

They are like the football version of toddlers. They really don't fit in their outfit, their helmets look like what you would buy from the Penny's catalogue, they move awkwardly, and they need toys to keep them entertained
