Wanted to throw in the Blasters, they had some pink stuff but I don’t think most would really call em a punk band

Hank Williams III is who got me to check out punk in the first place. I dig all you mentioned, but I guess I’m more drawn to the cowpunk side of the genre

Punk is a weird genre. There are so many sub genres that dabble.

Like I wouldn't necessarily label Melvins as punk, but they definitely have a punk rock attitude and were definitely influenced by such.

Fugazi is another...

That ain’t what George Strait is.

I can tolerate him, but he’s the most overrated country musician ever
