I’ve stepped on a couple copperheads that struck at me, but didn’t get though my boot, and I’ve had a bull charge me, but I was able to hop the fence in time.

Scariest would be when I got kicked by a horse. Glancing blow thankfully, but still knocked me out for a few seconds. Completely my fault. Was changing shoes and I stood up and walked behind it like a moron(horse normally wouldn’t kick, but was already stressed out due to having its shoes changed and I knew better).

Not counting any spider or centipede encounters.

I’ve been too close to black bears and coyotes and I’ve killed several rattlesnakes by pinning their head down and cutting their head off with my pocket knife, but I wasn’t in any real danger there

Got attacked by a German Shepard, walking through a desert to get to a friends house, and kicked it in the throat. I was probably about 13 years old, and not sure how bad I hurt it, but it screeched, and fell over gasping, and I ran like fucking hell.

Had a friend that had horses, and there was one, Cowboy, and he was a fucking asshole. When we would muck the stalls, for money to go out, he would try to kick you through the corral fencing form the adjacent stall. He got me once, pretty fucking good, right in my ass cheek, and I didnt walk right for a couple days. I punched that horse, and hit him with a fucking shovel. Hated that motherfucker.

Was at the Audubon Zoo in NOLA one year when I was about 14 or 15 years of age. Had a fucking goose or some bird that looked like a goose...not even sure what kind of bird it was actually...but anyway, I held a blade of grass into the fence to feed the goddamn bird and the fucker bit my finger and wouldn't fucking let go....it was fucking yanking on my digit like it was trying to rip it off!

Pissed me the fuck off so I reached into my pocket and pulled out my trusty pocket knife that I kept a razor sharp edge on. I opened the blade and presented it into the fence for this bird to bite on since it enjoyed biting things.

Stupid bird went for it! He latched down with all his might on that blade and split it's tongue in two! Bird screeching and spitting blood and I quietly and nonchalantly closed the blade, returned it to my pocket and slowly walked away acting incredulous that the bird is so loud.....

Way too many to list.

Bull moose (plural) lead the pack tho. Ornery, unpredictable bastards.
I’d take the angus bull charging me over a bull moose any day. Never seen a moose, but they look like they could fuck some shit up if they wanted to

Chased by a Texas Longhorn bull down at my cousins in Galveston.

I was probably 9 at the time. Climbed the fence to chase a frog.

Geese are terrorists. There’s an old wise tail that if you split the tongue of a bird(I think it was just for crows though) they can talk

Animals don't typically scare me.

I guess the closest call though also involved a horse. Two bonded pasture mates, I'd taken one (the submissive) of the two for grooming. When I returned him, I was in the process of closing the gate when I realized a little two late that I was on the wrong side of the pair. The submissive was getting checked and he turned to run, which resulted in him flattening me. In truth, he probably jumped me. It happened so fast and as he went over me in whatever way he did, I got clipped in the head by a hoof. My hands went to my head and while I wasn't bleeding, it felt like a finger under my scalp, trying to push out. I hadn't lost consciousness, so I got in the car and drove immediately to the ER. They took me in immediately as I had a potential head injury and looked like I'd been trampled by a horse.

Ended up with just a good lump on the head and a headache and nothing more.

I was walking to the lake in my great uncle’s pasture to go fishing when I was charged. Luckily my great uncle’s pasture has sections and I was walking the fence line that divided two of the sections

Luckily I hadn't wandered too far from the fence. Fucker came out from behind some trees.

We were walking a creekbank path that narrowed to about two feet wide against a fairly high bluff. We discovered a timber rattler laying on the bluff about head high to us. My friend in front was on it before we saw the damned thing. We backed up and started pumping buckshot from our 20 gauges and little snakes went everywhere.

We had one fella here that fought off an entire pack of wild pit bulls. Haven’t heard from him in awhile, so they may have gotten revenge.

Closest I've had to a scary experience with an animal was when I was about 7 or 8. I would walk past this one yard and there was a dog that would always bark at me and I'd run past the yard.

Then one day I saw that same dog getting chased by a cat and whining. The next time I saw him and he started barking...I just laughed at him and said "you're scared of cats". He stopped barking at me after that. lol

Got mauled by this Asian cocktail waitress after she got off work one night. She was a complete animal. Nearly killed me. Still got a scar from that night.

About five years ago, I took a friend’s three year son to the Cincinnati zoo. I got a little hungry and decided to get a churro. The kid was watching the gorillas, so I figured I’d leave him there while I waited for my snack. The next thing I know, I hear people screaming and turn to see the three year old hopping the fence into the gorilla enclosure.

At that point, all hell broke loose. The zookeepers were freaking out. One of the male gorillas starting picking up the kid and carrying him around, eventually taking him up a ladder. Long story short, they ended up shooting the gorilla and killing him.

Fucking kid’s parents never did pay me for babysitting that day.

Mine are pretty routine

bit by dogs and cats
Bucked off a horse
Stung by a stingray in the heel
Jellyfish plenty of times
Bit by gerbil
Tail whipped by iguana

Trying to get brahma cross bull back in pasture and he charged. I swear I jumped 4 strand barbed wire fence flat footed. Neighbor with 2 catahoulas put that son of a bitch in his place.

I got my back scratched all to hell late one night by a cougar.
