I have a five bedroom house with 4.5 bathrooms. I routinely use all but one of them depending on where I am when then urge strikes.

NEVER enough bathrooms in a house, if you ask me... Plus, I'd never buy a house with less bathrooms than bedrooms - at the minimum.

I mean... A 4-5 bedroom with 2-3 bathrooms just ain't gonna work out in reality. Just ask anyone with a family of six (or more) at "morning rush hour" in the home!!

I grew up in a house with 7 people and 1 bathroom. To this day, I'm happy if a house has 1.5 bathrooms.

We downsized a year ago and live in a 3/2. My daughter was home visiting and she went with my wife to lunch and later they both ended up with food poisoning.

They literally couldn’t pick themselves off the bathroom floor for several hours unless they had to throw up again. I ended up peeing in the backyard twice because there wasn’t anywhere else to go.

One that's closest to wherever I happen to be on the premises. So, with 5 bdrms, I'd do 5 "ensuite" and then the 6th (or 7th) bathrooms would be a half bath. You know, like close to the pool & grill area and other downstairs areas.

I can easily hold a full bladder and bowels for several hours and barely acknowledge it. I routinely work 9 hour shifts and never feel the need to empty once. On long road trips, I inadvertently annoy my passengers because I never need to stop.

I developed such a capacity from growing up in a house with one bathroom.
