Top 5 wuss rock bands

Megadeth has the better catalog fosho. Metallica's first 3/4 are fire, but I listen to Megadeth way more often.

I've really like their last few. Dystopia was great.
Dystopia is superb. Mustaine always brought in a great second guitarist like Marty Friedman, etc. Could not be wuss much with those kind of guitarists.

Van Hagar doing it's full wuss Europe Carrie here:

Sad comparing Van Hagar to this back in 1978 when Roth there. 1978 I mean this is way ahead of its time and I was 16 then. Hell they even made a music video lol. I blame it all on Eddie because he just wanted to play keyboards

Helter Skelter for those who consider the Beatles as nothing but a boy band. Or, if you like grit, try Roll Over, Beethoven
Love me some Chuck Berry(the music anyways, the man was kind of a creep)

The early, early Beatles did a lot of covers thanks to the record companies. They were a bar band. When they finally got control of the recording process is when the talent showed out. That later period, after they stopped touring, they became a studio band. Lots of trash and lots of gems.

They were basically the Monkees outside of Harrison.

Why did they stop touring? That is a negative imo. I heard it was the monitors or screaming fans. Other bands of the later Beatles era like the Stones, the Who, Hendrix, Zeppelin figured it out. A band like Zeppelin were so much better live than on some the recordings. For whatever the reason, and not sure who is doing it, Jimmy Page possibly, a lot of their live shows are showing up online full soundboard recordings too. Like the Royal Albert Hall show in 1970, Texas Speedway 1970, and the 4 CD Earl's Court Shows in 1975. Amazing live performances all fully professional recorded. I have them all.

I would guess it was road burnout.

They were only good live in the eyes of teenage girls. The Allman Brothers in their peak showed everyone how you do live performances.
Yes, the people who had mostly died before you were born.

Those guys.

Buddy, I get it. Your old ass was around and remember Beethoven and Mozart in their primes and can't comprehend liking music that was made before your time, but it's fairly common. Audio and video recording have both been around since the 19th century.

Did you not say live performances?

How would you know how good a live performance was unless you were there? Video isn't everything.

Wife told me that Berry Oakley would set up in the park and jam for everybody when she was a kid in chicago.

I have no doubt the allmans were great live, however I never saw them so I can't testify to it.

People who's opinion I respect say they were, and there's tons of video out there. At Filmore East is one of the only live albums I enjoy. All it takes is a loose grasp of history.

Dickey Betts was awesome live in his 70's
