Also, I tried to bake an egg and i overcooked it. It was deceptively slimy looking on top so I kept it in for about 15 minutes instead of the recommended 11. Cooked yolk. Waaaa.

It seems like its infinitely more difficult to bake an egg, then just fry it.

Nah- no flipping involved with baking. If I could get the timing right, it would be easier. Just pop it in and wait.

But baking does not give it the crispy fried, lacy edges you get from frying in some type of animal fat
