Fuck that shit.Grant of Rights
a.k.a. media rights
My neck of the football woods ain’t gonna be adding any of those losers. Other than Kansas anyway. And who cares about their football revenue anyway?Grant of Rights
Basically the BigXII teams signed an agreement that gave all their media rights away (even if they changed conferences).
Again, on average, it doesn't get that cold here in mid November. Chances are when the rare case the temp drops to 10 or 20 with winds at 10-20 at night will be rare. Sure it may happen, but what are the odds something that odd happens on the day/night they play that game, slim at best.I literally said the average temp is the 40's, but even your graph shows the average low is 30 degrees. If you have a 20 mph wind, which is extremely common in the fall and winter months -- using just the average low of 30 degrees feel like 10-15 degrees. Say it is 20 degrees out with a 20 mph wind -- the wind chill would make it feel like it is 1 or 2 degrees outside.
For someone who lives on the Michigan/Indiana border -- that this needs to be explained to you is bizarre.
Can I trademark The Sloppy Seconds Conference?
Durn, dude, how many houses you got???I have a home in Oregon and spend a lot of time in Washington too. Neither of those states are "cold". You need to spend some time during winter in Nebraska, Minnesota, Michigan, etc. That's "cold".
It’s a fact without Bama that LSU and Georgia would have another title because they played Bama in the final. Florida came close to taking Baja’s spot when they had Trask. Auburn won one and was 10 seconds and one play from another.
Tell yourself whatever it takes to help you sleep but even if Bama falls it won’t be someone in another conference taking their place.
The B1G doesn't playfootball in the winter. Mid-fall.I have a home in Oregon and spend a lot of time in Washington too. Neither of those states are "cold". You need to spend some time during winter in Nebraska, Minnesota, Michigan, etc. That's "cold".
Yeah, I was taught the seasons are marked by solstace and equinox. (But, that is my West Texas edumacacion so there's that.) Depending on the latitude where one lives....The B1G doesn't playfootball in the winter. Mid-fall.
In the Big 12 it’s Oklahoma and no one else.Anyone who watches college football knows if Bama falls -- Georgia is going to become the Bama of the SEC. Not difficult to see that.
But tell everyone about the what if's for Auburn, while you averaged 5 losses over the last 8 years. I'm sure you will more excuses on why that is. I'd give Auburn more credit, but all they really did was buy a QB. So not impressed unless you find another Cam Newton.
Florida has a legit shot, as they have a TON of talent in the state and no school in Florida has been good lately. If they find a coach -- they could become elite again.
In the end though -- It is Bama............then Georgia................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................then the rest of the SEC riding their coattails.
lol.. sorry to interrupt your crusade for your conference, SAD!, but what's going on right now isn't what is happening on the field itself. It's brands.. just be happy that you were part of the SEC from the beginning of time or so.. if this was about picking schools at a pickup game, you would be in charge of grabbing the real schools/programs slushies from across the street at 7-11In the Big 12 it’s Oklahoma and no one else.
In the B1G it’s been Ohio State or no one.
In the ACC it’s been all Clemson and not a close second.
In the PAC it’s been no one.
In the SEC since 2020 4 different national champions. You can ignore that all you want but it’s the truth if you want to admit it or not.
Here is your issue -- you can't emulate that in practice. Are you going to turn the AC on high in the practice facility? Unless you are in it for an extended period of time -- you never get used to it.
TONS of people move from the Midwest to the South for the warmer climate. Once they've lived there, they are putting sweatshirts on when it is 60 and 70 out. In the Midwest -- you are wearing shorts and flip flops when the weather breaks and hits 40-50 degrees.
There are days in the Midwest where it will hurt your face just to be outside because of the wind and cold. Now have one of these days happen when you have to play football and you only ever deal with 70 degree and up. It isn't just a shock -- it will be down right miserable for those kids.
I don’t blow out the yard sprinkler system until November and I cannot stand the frigid weather in Minnesota from December through March because the normally cold there is like a few days of worse case scenario here. What do I know -- I've only lived in Michigan basically my entire life. The average temp is around 40, but the lows for every single city in Southeast Michigan for November, where Ann Arbor is located is 0 or below zero. And the average temp and low temps do not factor in wind chill -- which anyone who lives in the Midwest can tell you -- it can say it is 20 degrees, but it feels a hell of a lot colder.

Sit at home and watch...if you have powerI personally, don't want to play games that dip below 70 degrees in November.. Time for some more realignment
