So he/she/it's just another run of the mill, virtue signaling, leftard?

Gavin Newsom is still taking shots at the deal in his comments by insisting that the Governor's office and the state legislature will have a big role to play in how this all plays out. Seems UCLA does take a lot of state money to operate. I've seen several articles with information provided by UCLA that shows it is in the millions and millions of dollars. Hmmmm.
Well UCLA's not leaving the state any more than if they played in Arizona, Oregon, Utah, Washington, or Colorado.
Does he think USC and UCLA are moving their campuses to Big 10 country?
Of all the schools im surprised its Colorado taking shots
Colorado AD on UCLA, USC leaving Pac-12: 'We didn't lose any team that has appeared in a CFP playoff game'

He doesn't care anything about the travel issues. What he's focused on is leaving the other California schools in a bind if the PAC 12 is mortally wounded. Dude is a politician. UCLA is extremely dependent on state funding. If UCLA was put into a position of " huge state funding cuts vs B1G $$$" it might be a power play but it's one the Guv would probably win. I hate Newsom. But I don't underestimate that guy.Well UCLA's not leaving the state any more than if they played in Arizona, Oregon, Utah, Washington, or Colorado.

Oregon 1 appearance 1-1
Washington 1 appearance 0-1
even with near appearances
both Oregon 6th in 19 and Stanford 6th in 15 were closer than USC's best 8th in 17
they could make a bowl this year tho. He’s right. PAC doesn’t lose much on the field. CU is still a dog shit program
This was from a UT $9.95er today (IT)
Realignment
USC and UCLA could be the domino that helps untether UT and OU from the Big 12. We‘ve heard OU does have the exit fee, but now we’re hearing the schools may get out without penalty due to the timing of contracts.
There is a very strong chance schools from the Pac 12 and Big 12 will merge. That doesn’t mean all schools will make the cut but that’s not really important for UT’s purposes. What is important is contract negotiations for the Pac are scheduled to start this year ahead of a 2024 expiration. Any merge with the Big 12 obviously could not include UT and OU as far as contracts go.
Stay tuned.
