Close! 69-7 Nebraska over Oklahoma 😂

This is not a democracy.
It wouldn't have made any difference if it were, everyone knows Nebraska won the 97 natty when every game was finished being played

All I can say is Wisconsin had 5 losses that year and Michigan had the lowest MOV
You mean they didn't spank a blue blood 69-7 that year! Huh

How would these numbers indicate anything other than getting LUCKY

Michigan
1993 8-4
1994 8-4
1995 9-4
1996 8-4
1997 12-0

This reminds me of 2 old punchdrunk ex-fighters in a bar arguing over which one is the pretty one.
Yea except... Michigan was a welterweight while Nebraska brought the pain

Nebraska looked great against the teams Michigan didn't play, other than needing the miracle kick/ catch in the end zone on the final play to force OT against 6 loss Missouri.

Thankfully we got to see both teams face the same offenses and same defenses twice that year -- as they both played Colorado and both played Baylor.

Colorado threw for over 360 yards alone on Nebraska, while Baylor and Colorado had about 360 yards combined between the two against Michigan.

Michigan blew out Colorado and picked off their QB 4 times, while he completed 18 of 49 passes.

Nebraska had to make a last second stop on a 4th quarter drive to salvage a 3 point win. Colorado scored 3 points total on Michigan.

But yeah, other than Michigan dominating their common opponents and not trailing by 7 points to a 6 loss Missouri team and getting a miracle to stay undefeated -- Nebraska was definitely better:dhd:

3, 2, 1............in B4 the endless list of excuses from the Nebraska fans on why UM absolutely dominated our common opponents, only giving up 6 points total to them, while Nebraska struggled and almost lost to Colorado (not to mention should have lost to Missouri).

I'm telling you -- they need to start a new bowl game and call it the 90's bowl. Nebraska and Tennessee can play each other each year and for that whole week, they can talk about how they used to be elite in 90's. It'd be a win/win for both programs -- they can relieve past glory and they'd actually get to go to a bowl game every year.:hide:

Did Nebraska bring the pain when Colorado threw for 360 yards on them? Did they bring the pain when down 7 to 6 loss Missouri and needed a miracle just to force OT?

Nebraska won 13 games. You've been proven wrong in your attempt at using "common" opponents.

Did scum beat a blue blood 69-7?
