Not unheard of for the previous natty winner not to be ranked 1. Surprised to see Ohio State ahead of them. We still have a lot of questions on defense.

LSU not being ranked kind of shocks me, they seem to be the type of team that gets a somewhat lofty preseason ranking regardless of how confirmed shitty they are.

They've been ranked before.

North Dakota is not prevalent at all. I can confidently say Nebraska will beat them in Game 2 on Sept 3rd.

I wouldn't say that about North Dakota St.

I care about teams that don't get respect and outrage their fans. It just ain't fair and I want football to be fair. This depressive episode is ruining my preseason so much that I may not be able to enjoy the games when they finally start.

Alabama 2011 NC, 2012 Pre-season #2, USC(lol) was #1
Clemson 2016 NC, 2017 Pre-season #5, Alabama was #1
LSU 2019 NC, 2020 Pre-season #6, Clemson was #1

On the plus side, it's usually not a good thing to be the pre-season #1.

Even the SEC writers poll doesn't put Georgia #1, or Sports Illustrated, or CBS...
