They've always defended the bowls by saying "Well the regular season is a playoff", but when the chips are down they never treat it as such in the BCS or the CFP.

Late season losses (i.e. '01 Nebraska) should eliminate a team from contention. That Nebraska loss wasn't even a CCG.

CCG's should be a no brainer for elimination from the current CFP format.
1) Don't play in it and you're out of the 4 team contention.
2) Lose it and you're out of the 4 team contention.

Do-overs are for pussies.

That Colorado beat down only served to give them another beat down by Miami. Frank and fans didn’t know it yet but that was his undoing + the cheerleader thing.

That Miami team likely beats down any opponent in that championship.

However, Oregon was the #2 team on selection day and they hadn't lost since Oct 20th to Stanford (42-49).
Stanford was a (9-2) team on selection day.

Seagal is an actor with no real accomplishments. Chuck Norris holds just about every martial arts record known to man. In their prime Chuck would have kicked his ass in under a minute. I looked over next to me at a country western bar in Oklahoma City years ago and there sitting next to me was Chuck Norris. I smiled at him and said "No problems, Chuck. I apologize for anything I might have said or done. Hell I even apologize for being born". He laughed and we talked for about 30 minutes. Really nice guy.

ESPN absolutely never pimped Ohio State for the playoff that year. This hilarious notion that ESPN is some grand shill for Ohio State always cracks me up. They go out of their way to trash/not shill for them more than anything.
