Under the Porch with the Guide Bear!

I got my laptop in the basement, I like this! I'm going to be sleeping down here soon! I got more Hobby Pictures.
Where I will put my desk is right by the window by Pondish! This Hobby is making me something! Something so happy to look forward to, I love my swimmers so much! Every day too, a little bit more every day. I can also watch Pondish from the dining room windows too, so fun!

Cotton Candy! She's a Sweety, that one is!

Right now the Pondish has that green looking water, when I filled it I didn't put the pump in until 3 or 4 days later and I think that still water made it get going with algae. Give me until Friday, I'm hoping with the good water movement that things clear up. So if it is still pea soup green by the weekend, I will take a more robust approach. When that water is clear, the beauty of the Koi is stunning.

What's all dis den?
When we still lived in Ohio, one weekend me and Bunny and our sun took a weekend trip to Pittsburgh. I LOVED that city. It was like a giant Akron but even cooler and grittier and SO many bridges! I never been to world class museum before that trip either. That stuff blowed me away, all the way away!

How I plan to deal with that algae in the Pondish, if it doesn't clear on its own is I will add charcoal to the filter box and then if it's still a problem and especially if it gets worse, I think there are other chemicals that are safe for fish that will control algae.

It was many years ago and I had a small aquarium that had algae and I bought this algae killer stuff at the pet shop and it killed the algae... and all the other plants too! I don't remember reading ANY warning about it being harmful to other plants.

I don't even care about algae, today is the first time I haven't seen ANY of my fish in the Pondish. It's an overcast day but I just hope they are all huddled up or something. I'm pretty sure they are gone!.

I've seen those Blue Herons long legging it that stream behind my house many times and I'm wondering if they did it? I've been looking all day and still nothing. If this is the case I will be so disappointed. So much so, that I just might decide to throw my own Cripple's Pity Party!

Drove over nearly every bridge in that city the last trip I was there.

Damn. That would suck! Need to set up a ring camera to watch it if you restock.

I still haven't seen any fish and because the water is so green it's hard to see much past the surface. It doesn't look good though. I had ten Goldfish in there, 6 Koi and 4 feeders. One of the feeders was or hopefully still is, Pecker, and he was getting big. The Koi, big ole Bumbles, him and all those other Koi were growing fast. That one named Decoy, he was growing fast too and he had the best pattern with good color, they look so nice from above.

And Don Knots the Butterfly Koi perished today, here he is up against the tower.

Here's a few more pics. I got the Stonehenge Replica recreated as I imagine it!

Here's the other name change. That's Pondalicious in the center with rich orange color and a white mouth. She's still small but she is SO Licious! Anyway, the yellow headed gal to the left, that's the Butterfly Koi with the deformed spine (that I didn't notice when I bought her) and I used to call her Barbalicious but it has been changed to Lemon Head! She's healthy too and if she had a straight spine she'd be gorgeous! That's Lemon Pepper on the bottom right. He and Pondalicious are both 34 cent feeders!

This little catfish was snortin around inside of the cab of that Silverado!
