I don't know how long you're out here, and I don't know if the heat we're supposed to get in the Bay Area is supposed to hit further south, but if it is ...

Let's just say (Moxie - look away ... NOW) temps over 110 are predicted for some interior locations up here.

I started panicking yesterday that I hadn't thought about taking off somewhere for the long weekend, but then remembered that I have to go to the city for a haircut tomorrow, then head out to Carmel on Sunday/Monday so I should stay pretty chill. Of course, i'll probably have to leave the house at 5am on Sunday to avoid the traffic from all the people headed to Santa Cruz. :mad2:

They've backed off on the extent of the "dangerous heat" over the last couple of days.
At first, it was likely to hit the whole Bay Area, including the bayshore areas and the coast.
Now, they're saying the coast is more likely, at least comparatively speaking, to stay somewhat reasonable.

I definitely breathed a little sigh of relief when I read it would not be a repeat of 2017 when it got up to 106 in the City.
I remember that so well.
I had no AC, just two little fans, and spent two days barely able to move.

It's supposed to run just shy of 100 while I'm here.

Yea he's have to make last Saturday look like a fluke, northwestern needs to beat whoever by 100 and we would have to manhandle everyone including Indiana and Oklahoma. It's not going to happen and even then not sure it would matter

Speaking of LA- the boss is down there this week for some surgical procedure so he’s taking meetings from his hotel. Katie called to tell me she was on a video call with him yesterday (+2 other co-workers) and his wife was getting changed & taking off her clothes in the background :laugh3: I asked if she saw her tiddies but she said she was trying not to notice, plus she was panicking (the other 2 were dudes). I’m guessing she saw ‘em. I can’t believe she didn’t scream at the boss- “HEY! Tell wifey to change in the bathroom!” I should definitely talk shit to him about it, right? :biggrin:
