It’s on Jayski, so I’d say more than the streets. That sucks in a way since Texas has to have two events per their contract, and that would mean Texas would go back to having two real races.

Just give NW a real race and and try to make right a wrong

They want proof on concept before they'll give it a real race. If the racing is solid and the crowd is good enough, it'll get one down the road. I don't think that's necessary, but sometimes corporate is cautious with stuff like that

It’s not worth having two full length Texas races for any period of time again though.

Busch to the 8
Which I get, but Reddick still has one more year in that seat.

I think I read somewhere that RCR might go to 3 cars for 2023, then back to 2 cars for 2024 and beyond? Who knows.

With charters in such high demand, I doubt RCR would expand to a 3 team operation for one season.

Dale Jr, Niece Motorsports and even Kevin Harvick have expressed interest in getting a charter

Plus I doubt Kyle would want to drive for a guy that literally punched him in the face, even though he deserved it and that cemented RC as my favorite owner

I think this is what I read that made me think that. NASCAR: Richard Childress Racing could add third charter for Kyle Busch

It's strictly an opinion piece though, with zero shred of anything factual for evidence as to whether RCR even wants to acquire a 3rd charter, so there's no merit here. Article even admits that probably the only way RCR could get that 3rd charter is if Kurt Busch retires and 23XI is willing to sell that charter (doubtful).

So, I'm left with this: If Richard Childress is a man of his word, and honors his contract with Reddick in the 8 and Dillon in the 3, there's no room for Kyle at RCR next season. I think Richard REALLY wants him, but I'm not seeing how it could happen.

I’m not sold that RC even wants KFB. The whole charter system is dumb and is a big reason why we only see full fields at the big races. Think there’s been a total of two DNFs all season and both of them were the MBM cars at the Daytona 500.

But with Reddick leaving at the end of next season and likely taking his sponsors with him, I’m not sure if RC would have the sponsorship for 3 teams. Somehow he’s got two full season sponsors in the Busch Series though, so he might could work something out

Meh, I hear you, but the charters aren't why the field isn't full for a lot of races. Most non-superspeedway races have open spots that no one even bothered trying to qualify for. For those final 4 or 5 (i forget) spots, you don't need a charter. And no one is bringing anything to make a qualifying attempt at those. And they literally would only need to show up and keep pace. It's not the charters, it's the raw cost of fielding a car for even one race. It's too damn much, charter or no charter.

The charters are big barrier for new teams wanting to field competitive teams in the Cup Series. If not for the charter system, we’d likely have KBM and JRM in the Cup Series by now and soon to have KHI brought back, and they are a barrier for even established teams looking to expand

Instead we have Rick aware, Spire, whatever they call the 78 team, etc hogging up charters.

They hurt the growth of the sport

Don't rule out Kurt Busch being done career wise and Reddick getting let out of the contract to fill the 45 a year early. It's a weird situation for teams to have a lame duck year lingering over them and if they have a potential replacement as talented as Kyle Busch out there, its best to just get it done.

Saw this article a few minutes ago though:
Earnhardt tweeted Thursday night the emoji's to say “Shrub to the 8” indicating Busch would replace Tyler Reddick at RCR. Reddick has already said he's leaving RCR at the end of 2023; Childress has been adamant that Reddick will fulfill the final year of his contract.

But Earnhardt might not have any actual inside information. He also tweeted “I thought it was Kaulig. But not so sure anymore.”

Then he followed with a less sensical use of emojis that could loosely be interpreted as Busch to 23XI in the No. 32. That's assuming that's what Earnhardt meant by tweeting 32 basketballs; 23XI is co-owned by Michael Jordan.

That's when Busch finally entered the conversation, replying to Earnhardt “The High Rock must b flowing tonite” in reference to Earnhardt's vodka brand.

So I think it's all just speculation.
