Champions League 2022/2023

Juventus in trouble and Chelsea chokes again even with Potter.

Dortmund backup goalie sucks. First 2 shots in the net. The Stones shot from way out right at him. Just stood there.

One of the best plays of the game yesterday was when Lucas launched Lewey airbourne. Lol.

Hernandez has been my favorite player to watch the last couple seasons. He will be missed big time the next few weeks. His brother is on AC Milan. He plays in a similar fashion.

Yes. Rememeber when he first arrived, he was injured a lot, but not the last few years. Lucky for Bayern and France his injury is not that severe. I didn't know he had a brother. Must be good if he is at AC Milan. He knows how to throw his weight even though not that tall, and takes a yellow card at the right time, unlike De Ligt who is a walking yellow card at all times. You notice De Ligt didn't get a single minute yesterday and rightfully so after his huge gaff last Saturday. De Ligt will get a lot of minutes now though but has to improve his timing on everything he does. You notice last Saturday, he mistimed headers too. Jumped too early and went over his head. Dangerous mistakes in the box.

Marco Rose may have beat Dortmund last weekend, but today same ole same ole versus Real Madrid. Garbarge hiring imo. Shocked this team has scoring issues. Other than Nkunku not much else. Werner, Silva, Szoboszlai quiet. Forberg and Poulsen getting old. One of the big underachievers this season in European football. Right there with Chelsea and Juventus.

Hertha was sooooo close to a big win today.

Mainz looking good this year so far.
lol I thought I’d posted the Hertha comment in the Bundesliga thread

they won’t be playing in the UCL any time soon

Bayern having trouble with the press again.

Mané sucks. Bad giveaways , no much up front. wtf is this shit?
At least he's no longer falling for the offside trap every time down field lol.

Muller and Kimmich have COVID. Out today vs Pilzen which probably doesn't matter but will matter this weekend maybe vs Dortmund.

No problem. Look great so far.

See Kimmich can be rested. Look faster with Gravenberch Goretzka Musiala at midfield.

P.S. Only reason I was able to watch Bayern today is that I had bone graft dental surgery this morning before the game and "couldn't" go back to work. Just felt well enough to watch the game. You do what you can to support your team lol.

I've never even had a single filling. Not bad for 67 years.

5-0. Could have been worse. Interesting who got subbed out early. Der Klassiker this weekend and probably no Muller/Kimmich. Musiala and Davies went out early, and then Goretzka so you know they are starting. Once Musiala off things went flat in the 2nd half.

Well well well.. Inter up on Barcelona. If they hold on, could get interesting this Group.
