Haarburg surely can't be any worse than Purdy, could he?
Yep. Every QB gonna be running for their life at some point.Ain't nobody gonna be stellar behind those lines.
Hard truth.
I agree. At one time in the recent past, I thought the O-line play was direct result of poor coaching.Yep. Every QB gonna be running for their life at some point.

Now, I'm not saying Raiola is a good Coach, but we're seeing the same shit as we did over the last few years.
I'm convinced now that, regardless of who is coaching this group, it will not get any better. They are, simply, bad at playing football.
I thought I knew better but #1 looks like the biggest problem. I knew Zach when he was hungry to prove himself and he improved my daughter’s speed, strength, and vertical for volleyball. Perhaps he spent too much time recently on the golf simulator screwing around with Scotty. There are way too many injuries and too much getting man-handled by every team not named Nebraska to say what they are doing in S&C Is ever going to work.D-line doesn't hold up it's end of the deal either.
#115 in Rushing Defense.
#107 in Sacks
Skill players on either side of the ball don't stand much of a chance to excel.
Nebraska's got the facilities, training table, etc. for these linemen.
The issue is likely one or both of these things.
1) The S&C coach.
2) You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.

It doesn't look like Nebraska's gonna run the ball on any of them.
Minnesota and Wisconsin will put the least amount of pressure on Thompson (if he returns). However, if they shut down the run and make Nebraska one dimensional they can pin their ears back and bring the heat.
Wisconsin and Iowa look to be Nebraska's best chance to keep things close defensively.
Toure just caught his 1st career TD catch !
I think that the lack of news is more a Trev keeping a lid on it thing.I'm torn, between the SI article and this, kinda just want to give Mickey that shot, as it can't get any worse. He said in the SI article with the resources we have here, he can get the players to come. I'd think we can get him to go lower on salary and pay high for better assistants. Need better OC and DC and I'd shoot for the moon on OL and DL coaches as that is where we are losing the games.
Also the lack of news, just not sure we can entice anyone great to come here. I'm a no on O'Brien, Arnada I'm kinda hohum about, doesn't sound like Rhule wants the job, and I'm just not sure who else there is.
I guess I'd rather just lose with a guy like Mickey and his own coaching staff than the unknown.
